For Christina Pegg, the opening of Hibiscus Beauty Clinic fulfilled a long held dream of welcoming her clients to luxurious surroundings in which to be pampered. Her philosophy is that beauty treatments are something to be enjoyed and as anyone who has been in the hands of this talented lady knows, nurturing is one of the things in which she specialises.
Christina began practising as a beauty therapist in the early 1990’s and was baffled to find that the art of permanent make-up, so popular with women in her native Malaysia, was virtually unknown here. Following a period of comprehensive study of the technique, Christina put her knowledge into practice and now, 20 years later, is generally regarded as this country’s foremost practitioner in the art.
She travels frequently to America and other parts of the world to ensure she’s always utilising the most up to date and cutting edge techniques, equipment and colours. She is a Certified Micropigmentation Instructor and an International Associate member of the American Academy Of Micropigmentation. As a fully qualified teacher, she is now passing along her skills and experience to other beauticians.
In her more than 20 years in the beauty business, Christina has established a fine reputation and a loyal following of happy clients. The opening of Hibiscus Beauty Clinic was not only the result of a lot of thought, but part of her plan to establish a centre where a variety of additional alternative and complementary therapies were available under one roof.
